The Accident
This happened in October of 1997. I was sitting at a red light, minding my own business and the light turned green. I started to go, along with the rest of the traffic, and somebody in a full-size Chevy van ran the red light at about 50 mph and nailed me right in the front end, spun around and stopped. He hung around long enough for me to find out he didn't have a license or insurance. Once he found out somebody had called the police, he took off. And I hadn't gotten his license plate number yet!
As you can see, he made quite a mess. $6100.00 and 3 months later, I had my car back, better than new. By the way, the wheelcovers and wipers have since been replaced by something a lot less ricey.
